Name your home and add the people who live there. A first name or nickname is all each person needs.

Copy your invitation into the group chat. One link is usually all you need; advanced options let you limit a link to one profile or set an expiry.

I built Chore Team because sharing a home should be easier than keeping track of who last cleaned the bathroom. I hope it takes a few arguments out of everyday life and maybe saves a relationship or two along the way.

Is it really completely free?
Yes, every feature is free and will stay that way, without subscriptions or in-app purchases. I built Chore Team to help people share the work at home, and there is no paid upgrade.
Who is Chore Team for?
Couples living together, roommates, shared flats and families. Give each person a profile and organise the home in a way that works for you. The usual shared link gives everyone equal access; optional profile-restricted links can limit what a participant can change. Do we need to create accounts?
You can get started without a Chore Team account, email address or password. Create a household and share its private invitation link so the others can choose their profile. Anyone with the general link can select any profile, so keep it between people you trust. You can replace the link and revoke devices in Settings. Keep a copy safe: if every device and the link are lost, there is no email recovery.
What happens to our data?
Your household information is stored on your devices and synced through our service hosted in Germany. It is shared with the people connected to your household. The app has no advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell your data. The service processes the data needed to operate and sync the app; it is not end-to-end encrypted. You can export your information or delete your household in the app. The privacy policy explains the details. Privacy
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Saved tasks stay available, and you can mark chores done without a connection. Those completions wait on your device and sync when you’re back online. Editing rooms, tasks and household members needs a connection.
How do I get the app?
Chore Team has native apps for iPhone (iOS 26 or later) and Android (Android 10 or later), in English and German. A web app isn’t available.
